Finance Manager - Construction Company

Job description / Role

  1. - Timely Preparation of Management Accounts Pack, Forecasts and Budgets
  2. - Review and Control of Balance Sheet Accounts
  3. - Review & Preparation of Financial Information for Board Reports
  4. - Manage cashflow for the Division
  5. - Monitor working capital for Division incl Debtors & Creditors Analysis
  6. - Present Management Accounts Pack including commentary on variances against budget, forecast and other KPI's
  7. - Attendance at monthly/quarterly reviews for division
  8. - Ensure all costs incurred are appropriately allocated and recharged
  9. - Ensure effective controls are in place and that risk/opportunity is accurately reported
  10. - Review and monitor Customer/Supplier Retentions
  11. - Audit and authorise payment runs and manual cheques
  12. - Participation in Audits, co-ordinate for Division
  13. - Review Information for Annual Statutory Reporting including Tax Packs, Stat Packs etc
  14. - Identify and Implement system and process Improvements
  15. - Business Partnering with Operations and Commercial Leads for Division

Requirements

Working experience as Finance Manager in a Construction Company in UAE is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will be a CIMA / ACCA Qualified accountant with relevant experience working within a construction company. Strong Excel skills will be essential and knowledge of SAP would be preferred.
